Claire Rason

Claire is a former City-lawyer, business development professional, and an accredited coach (Practitioner Level with the EMCC). She is passionate about the power of coaching to help people and teams "play at their best".

 

Claire combines consulting and coaching to generate insights and boost performance. She enjoys working with professional services firms and individuals to identify where their strengths lie and helping both fulfill their potential.

Claire is the author of legal diversity & culture report Class of 2002, co-author of Coaching Tools, and also Globe Law and Business’ Preparing for Partnership. She has a particular focus on relationships, both those that firms have externally with clients, but also internally. Having worked for many years in business development roles, she knows how to harness EQ to win work. She is passionate about seeing more women in leadership roles and works with firms to harness diverse talent.

My Story

I have a person-centred approach to coaching, believing that every individual, team, and system has the answers within themselves. I use a range of tools and techniques, including Grow; Motivational Interviewing; Time to Think; ACT; Gestalt; and constellations. I aim to challenge and support, as you explore and develop the areas that are most important to you.

I became interested in coaching because I found I was constantly being asked to do it. In 2016, I embarked on the Professional Certificate in Coaching at Henley Business School and I have never looked back. I have coached executives, partners, and professionals across a range of industries. I take a holistic view and always consider the system in which an individual operates, as such I particularly enjoy working with teams.

I have undertaken research into why women do not make it to the top in professional services firms and I believe that coaching offers a solution to help create agents for change, but also to help with broader systemic change.
